RFEF’s Coach Committee at the 37th AEFCA Symposium

Under the title “La Grande Bellezza del Calcio”, AEFCA (Alliance of European Football Coaches’ Associations) celebrated its 37th Symposium in the city of Como in north Italy from November 2 to 5.



With great assistance from coaches not only Europeans but also from other parts of the world, the Simposyum was initiated, intervening in the opening ceremony not only the president of the AEFCA Walter Gagg but also a wide representation of the Italian Calcio, from the president of its Federation Carlo Tavecchio to Renzo Ulivieri coach with great experience and who is now the head of the Italian Association of Coaches. The symposium gave a broad overview of the philosophy of Italian football, the evolution of work with young players in Calcio, the importance of the qualified coach as a great development tool.



Attending high level speakers, such as Gianni Biassi current coach of the Albania National team, Carlos Alberto Parreira World Champion with the Brazilian team who spoke of the past, present and future of the Brasilian football and Fabio Capello who talked about his experience in all the teams he trained and the different countries and cultures that he had to live with.

The practical session of the symposium was held in the sports city of Inter Milan and was lead by U17 Inter Milan team with his coach Roberto Samaden as main speaker.

In summary: Interesting Symposium where not only can see the development and growth of football in other countries, but also fosters and improves the relationship and friendship between them.
